About the role

The QA Automation Manager plays a critical role in ensuring the quality and reliability of digital product releases.
This position exists to lead the test automation strategy, overseeing the design, implementation, and continuous improvement of quality gates across the CI/CD pipeline.
By developing scalable test frames and fostering a culture of quality, the role contributes directly to the organization’s ability to deliver high-performing, secure, and reliable digital solutions.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES: Test Automation Strategy: Define and implement robust automation frames.
Drive the development of reusable component libraries.
Ensure scalability of regression test coverage.
Team Leadership & Growth: Manage and mentor QA engineers.
Set clear performance goals and foster a culture of continuous improvement.
Promote testing best practices across cross-functional squads.
Release Readiness & Quality Gates: Ensure all releases meet defined testing coverage, reliability, and SLA targets.
Align testing efforts with continuous integration and deployment pipelines.
Tooling & Infrastructure: Own and maintain testing pipelines.
Collaborate with DevOps to ensure stability, efficiency, and integration with CI tools.
Reporting and Metrics: Provide visibility into automation KPIs, test coverage, flaky tests, and quality trends.
Use data to drive continuous improvement in testing processes.

Requirements

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
Advanced degree (e.g., MBA) is a plus.
Experience: 7+ years of experience in backend and full-stack development.
3+ years of experience managing engineering or QA teams.
Proven track record of delivering scalable digital products.
Hands-on experience with microservices, CI/CD, and cloud platforms.
Strong understanding of coding standards and quality assurance practices.
Understanding: Deep knowledge of system design and backend infrastructure.
Familiarity with security standards and data privacy, especially in banking systems.
Ability to balance project deadlines with technical debt management.
Awareness of fintech regulatory and compliance requirements.
