About the role

Lead the planning, coordination, and implementation of horticulture crop production activities in accordance with market demand, production capacity, seasonal conditions, and unit objectives.
Supervise and provide technical guidance on crop selection, production scheduling, nursery management, cultivation, irrigation systems, pest and disease management, harvesting, and post-harvest handling.
Promote and ensure the implementation of Good Agricultural Practices (GAP), Climate-Smart Agriculture (CSA), and safe vegetable production standards.
Strengthen capacity in production planning, farm management, business management, cost analysis, quality assurance, post-harvest management, and collective marketing.
Coordinate the development of an inclusive, competitive, efficient, and sustainable horticulture crop value chain.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Horticulture, Agronomy, Agricultural Science, Agribusiness, Agricultural Economics, or a related field.
At least 5 years of relevant experience in horticulture crop production, agricultural produce marketing, agricultural value chains, or farmer organization support.
Practical knowledge in planning horticulture crops, harvest schedules, quality standards, and post-harvest handling.
Ability to evaluate production capacity, understand buyer requirements, and coordinate supply among multiple modern agricultural communities.
Good communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills with the ability to travel regularly and work independently across multiple provinces.
Proficiency in Excel or Google Sheets for data recording, sales forecasting, and reporting.
Good command of written and spoken Khmer.
