About the role

Develop and implement treasury strategies covering cash management, liquidity planning, funding, and risk management to support objectives and financial stability.
Oversee foreign exchange, interest rate risk, and funding activities, including hedging strategies, to mitigate financial risks and market volatility.
Monitor risk exposure and recommend appropriate risk mitigation actions.
Manage relationships with banks and financial institutions, including negotiation of credit facilities, funding arrangements, and banking services to ensure competitive terms and adequate liquidity.
Ensure treasury activities comply with internal policies, regulatory requirements, and applicable accounting standards.
Maintain strong governance and internal controls within treasury operations.
Supervise hedge accounting processes and fair value reporting in accordance with IFRS, including IFRS 9 requirements.
Ensure accuracy and transparency in treasury-related financial reporting.
Lead treasury system improvements, digitalization, and process automation initiatives to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and control.
Provide regular insights and recommendations to senior management on market trends, liquidity position, funding structure, and financial risk exposure.
Lead, mentor, and develop treasury team members to strengthen technical capabilities and ensure effective succession planning.

Requirements

Bachelor’s or master’s degree in finance, Economics, Accounting, or a related field.
Minimum 5 years of experience in corporate treasury, banking, or financial risk management roles, with proven exposure to liquidity management, funding, and treasury operations.
Strong knowledge of foreign exchange, derivatives, liquidity management, debt instruments, and financial markets.
Solid expertise in hedge accounting, IFRS (especially IFRS 9), and financial risk management practices.
Excellent leadership, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
Strong analytical capability with advanced Excel modeling skills.
Ability to communicate complex treasury matters clearly to senior management and operate effectively in a fast-paced environment.
