About the role

Acquire and onboard medium loan clients.
Analyze and process their loan applications by conducting credit investigations, scoring, credit checking, and other underwriting activities to ensure good lending and loan quality.
Maintain existing and build new medium clients in accordance with medium loan policies and procedures to ensure secured loans.
Collect all required client documents for loan application to verify eligibility.
Gather valid applicants’ financial records by obtaining and compiling copies of clients’ credit histories, medium financial statements, and other financial information.
Conduct credit investigation to analyze applicants’ financial status, credit, property evaluations, and repayment capacity to determine feasibility of granting loans.
Conduct site visits during loan assessment to obtain in-depth information concerning the loan application purpose and ensure sufficient and acceptable customer security.
Process and prepare Credit Appraisal Report including detailed loan appraisal writeup and financial analysis for loan approval.
Explain different types of loans and credit options, as well as service terms, to clients for further cross-selling.
Make regular site visits to existing customers to determine loan status (same, upgraded/downgraded) based on collateral and/or financial situation, and develop customer relationships for cross-selling.
Closely monitor recommended/processed loans for timely repayment to ensure Portfolio At Risk remains within acceptable levels.
Collaborate closely with Head Office to follow up on post disbursement conditions and financial covenants, ensuring full compliance.
Follow up delinquent clients immediately and refer such cases to the supervisor to proactively handle the branch loan portfolio.
Discuss credit-related issues and loan packaging to provide sound financial advice and tailored solutions, and to cross-sell other banking products.
Handle client issues or complaints to find amicable solutions and escalate to higher authority if needed.
Stay abreast of new loan types and financial services and products to better meet customer needs.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in finance and banking, accounting, or any relevant field.
Minimum one year of experience in banking and financial services industry.
Good knowledge of bank branch operations, rules and regulations, laws, granting loans, and credit risk management.
Demonstration of presentation and sales skills.
Good customer service, client relationship management, communication, negotiation, problem-solving, and internal skills.
Ability to use and communicate in both Khmer and English.
Good Microsoft Office and Bank’s software.
Good math skills and ability to spot numerical errors.
Good problem-solving, negotiation, and internal skill.
Strong dedication to accuracy and efficiency.
