• Provide effective supervision and oversight of an assigned micro loan team, ensuring adherence to micro loan policies and service quality standards.
• Evaluate, authorize, and recommend approval of micro loan applications with a precise understanding of banking rules, regulations, micro loan policies, and procedures.
• Exercise direct supervision over all micro loan personnel to ensure smooth day-to-day operations.
• Monitor team activities, including designing tasks, assigned duties, responsibilities, coaching, and performance reviews to maintain stable operations.
• Take the lead in promoting the Bank’s micro loan products, particularly through customer orientation, to improve the quality of the Bank’s micro loan portfolio.
• Conduct site visits to customers’ properties according to the bank’s policy to ensure proper granting of loans.
• Review thoroughly all micro loan applications to prevent loan application fraud.
• Manage late payments and micro loan defaults by consistently providing the team with professional methodologies to follow up, re-engage, and restructure clients’ loans.
• Collaborate closely with the loan recovery team to ensure successful recovery of loans.
• Drive the team to achieve individual performance targets and overcome challenges through regular pipeline meetings.
• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly micro loan disbursement reports, and conduct daily monitoring of accounts to maintain the branch’s positive cash flow and proactively handle the team’s micro loan portfolio.
• Ensure the team clearly explains payment terms and conditions, including late fees, to clients to ensure timely loan payments and minimize client defaults.
• Report and update the line manager on activities, loan product status, and encountered problems while implementing the Bank’s micro loan policies to improve the branch’s loan portfolio quality.
• Conduct 100% actual verification and validation of micro loan applications and accounts for better internal control.
• Provide constructive feedback to improve the branch’s operational policy and guidelines.
• Handle complex customer issues when Micro Loan Officers cannot, remaining calm and executing excellent customer service principles to find amicable solutions.
• Resolve team routine and complex issues to maintain productivity and morale.
• Act as a role model within the team to question, listen, and give actionable feedback carefully to create a productive atmosphere towards a “speak up culture”.

Bachelor’s degree in finance and banking, accounting, or any relevant field; Minimum of two years of experience in banking and financial services industry with a strong track record in granting loans; Excellent knowledge of bank branch operations, rules and regulations, laws, granting loans, and credit risk management; Ability to use and communicate in both Khmer and English; Proficient in Microsoft Office and Bank’s software; Excellent sales and customer services skills; Good math skills and ability to spot numerical errors; Good team leadership, management, problem-solving, negotiation, and interpersonal skills; Strong dedication to accuracy and efficiency.
