About the role

Provide programme and operational support to Shelter and community infrastructure interventions.
The role works in close coordination with the National Project Officer (Preparedness, Response and Recovery) based in the Country Office, as well as with relevant programme units including livelihoods, protection, and social cohesion, to ensure integrated and conflict-sensitive programme delivery.
Support coordination, community engagement, assessments, and monitoring of activities, working closely with community-based organizations (CBOs), local authorities, and implementing partners.
The position contributes to ensuring that interventions are responsive to community needs, aligned with organizational standards, and effectively implemented.
The role also supports reporting, resource tracking, and programme planning processes, while promoting accountability, inclusion, and adherence to organizational standards and safeguards.
Additionally, the incumbent will contribute to strengthening the capacities of local stakeholders, including community-based organizations (CBOs) and government counterparts, to support effective and sustainable programme implementation.

Support the planning and coordination of shelter and community infrastructure activities by systematically collecting, organizing, and maintaining relevant programme and field information, ensuring that implementation is informed, timely, and aligned with overall project objectives.
Assist in the development, implementation, and regular updating of monthly and quarterly work plans of shelter and infarcture activities , ensuring effective tracking of progress, id.
