About the role

Oversee daily accounting operations, including general ledger, AP/AR, fixed assets, and cash management.
Prepare timely monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements with accuracy and compliance.
Review journal entries, reconciliations, and account analyses to ensure data integrity.
Monitor budgets, expenses, and cash flow; provide insights to support decisions.
Coordinate audits, tax filings, and statutory reporting with internal teams and external partners.
Strengthen internal controls, accounting policies, and procedures to reduce risk and improve efficiency.
Lead, coach, and develop accounting staff to achieve high performance and accountability.
Partner with management to deliver financial reports, variance analysis, and operational support.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA/ACCA is a plus.
Minimum 5 years of accounting experience, including at least 2 years in a managerial role.
Strong knowledge of accounting standards, financial reporting, budgeting, and internal controls.
Experience in logistics, transport, or a fast-paced commercial environment is preferred.
Proficient in accounting software and Microsoft Excel, with strong analytical skills.
Proven ability to manage deadlines, lead a team, and cross-functionally.
Good understanding of tax, audit, and regulatory compliance requirements.
Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
High level of integrity, attention to detail, and ownership of results.
