About the role

The Assistant Sales Manager acts as a strategist and assists the Sales Manager in organizing, implementing, monitoring, and managing the community's marketing and sales system.
This role focuses not only on promotion or customer acquisition but also on ensuring the community's products have buyers, appropriate selling prices, clear payment terms, and can quickly convert harvests into cash.
The position focuses on 3 main pillars: Market Demand, Selling Price, and Cash Flow.
Assist the Sales Manager in: Monitoring daily and weekly market prices.
Collecting price information from buyers, wholesalers, processing factories, and exporters.
Verifying the accuracy and transparency of price information.
Comparing selling prices with market prices and production costs.
Helping to set base prices and minimum sellable prices.
Assisting in price negotiations with customers.
Sales are not to be made below approved prices without leadership authorization.
The goal is to ensure that sales not only have high volume but also have prices that support the community's profit.
The role must assist in monitoring the process from harvest to cash collection.
Help prepare and negotiate payment terms with customers, such as: Advance payments Installment payments Payment upon receipt of goods Approved credit terms.
Monitoring: Invoices Delivery dates Payment due dates Receivables Late payments Cash collection Credit risk customers.
