About the role

Provide effective supervision and oversight of an assigned small loan team, ensuring established policies are followed and service quality standards are achieved.
Evaluate, authorize, and recommend approval of small loan applications, adhering to banking rules, regulations, and procedures.
Exercise direct supervision over all small loan personnel to ensure smooth day-to-day operations.
Monitor team activities, including designing tasks, assigning duties, responsibilities, coaching, and performance reviews.
Take the lead in promoting the Bank’s small loan products and conducting customer orientation.
Conduct site visits to customers’ properties in accordance with bank policy.
Review all small loan applications to prevent fraud.
Manage late payments and small loan defaults by providing professional methodologies for follow-up and restructuring.
Collaborate closely with the loan recovery team to ensure successful recovery.
Drive the team to achieve performance targets and overcome challenges through regular pipeline meetings.
Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly small loan disbursement reports and monitor accounts to maintain positive cash flow.
Ensure clients clearly understand payment terms and conditions, including late fees.
Report and update the line manager on loan product activities, statuses, and encountered issues.
Conduct 100% actual verification and validation of small loan applications and accounts.
Provide constructive feedback to improve operational policy and guidelines.
Handle complex customer issues when Small Loan Officers cannot.
Resolve team routine and complex issues to maintain productivity and morale.
Act as a role model within the team, fostering a productive atmosphere.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in finance and banking, accounting or any relevant field.
Minimum two years of relevant experience in banking and financial services industry with a strong track record in granting loans.
Excellent knowledge of bank branch operations, rules and regulations, laws, granting loans, and credit risk management.
Ability to use and communicate in both Khmer and English.
Proficient in Microsoft Office and Bank’s software.
Excellent sales and customer services skills.
Good math skills and ability to spot numerical errors.
Good team leadership, management, problem solving, negotiation and interpersonal skill.
Strong dedication to accuracy and efficiency.
