About the role

Assist the Head of Department in preparing daily Foreign Exchange (FX) position calculations to support buy/sell operations.
Research, source, and quote foreign currency buying and selling exchange rates from reliable local and international websites/institutions to maintain a competitive FX market position and successfully close deals, in adherence to Wing Bank’s FX procedures.
Provide timely and accurate special exchange rate quotations to clients referred by the Bank’s frontlines.
Update the Bank’s standard FX rates in the system promptly in response to market fluctuations, ensuring timely communication with the team and clients to minimize financial and reputational risks.
Prepare FX-related reports, such as realized gain/loss reports, to support financial analysis and decision-making.
Maintain accurate and secure records of all FX reports and related documents, ensuring accessibility in both hard and soft copy formats.
Support the Head of Department in delivering training sessions to frontline and internal teams on Treasury dealing and FX control procedures, keeping them informed of service updates, policy changes, and procedural enhancements.
Monitor competitor activities and performance to identify new sales opportunities and propose strategies to increase market share.
Stay up-to-date with Wing Bank’s procedures and marketing campaigns to ensure comprehensive product knowledge when engaging with clients.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Banking, Accounting, or a related field.
Minimum of 7 years of experience in treasury, finance, accounting, teller operations, or a related area—preferably within the financial industry.
Basic understanding of bank branch operations, relevant regulations, and operational risk management.
Strong skills in communication, negotiation, customer service, presentation, problem-solving, and interal relations.
Ability to exercise sound judgment and practical decision-making.
Proficiency in both Khmer and English; additional skills are a plus.
Competency in Microsoft Office applications, with advanced proficiency in Excel preferred; familiarity with banking systems is an advantage.
High attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
