• Define and champion the long-term platform roadmap ensuring scalability, maintainability, and agility.Drive platform alignment across teams to deliver value consistently.Coach tech leads, architects, and engineers to improve autonomy, accountability, and craftsmanship.
• Foster a high-performance culture across distributed teams.Oversee planning, prioritization, and delivery across backend services, middleware, and shared platform components.
• Manage release cadence, backlog health, and platform KPIs.Ensure architectural compliance, technical debt management, and platform-wide design principles through collaboration with architects and principal engineers.Partner with Product Owners, Security, QA, and DevOps to ensure that platforms are secure, testable, observable, and aligned with capabilities.Implement scalable agile practices, OKRs, and cadence rituals (PI planning, tribe syncs, retros).
• Facilitate flow across multiple value streams.Ensure platform adheres to secure development standards and proactively manages audit, compliance, and privacy concerns across environments.Evaluate and govern platform toolchains (e.g., Gitflow, CI/CD, Observability stacks) and coordinate with vendors for support and SLAs.

​​Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Software Engineering, or a related field (master’s preferred)​Advanced degree (e.g., MBA) is a plus​​​​7+ years in backend/platform engineering, including system architecture and infrastructure optimization​5+ years of proven team management experience across multiple squads or tribes​Prior experience scaling banking platforms, ensuring multi-region reliability, HA, and fault tolerance​Experience leading cross-functional agile teams, driving delivery across multiple platforms simultaneously​​​​​Strong understanding of banking systems architecture, core system integration, and digital transformation roadmaps​Expertise in secure service design (OAuth2, OpenID, encryption, tokenization, etc.)​Clear understanding of regulatory requirements, audit readiness, and IT governance for platforms​ value prioritization using agile metrics like velocity, ROI-based epics, and lead time management​​
