About the role

As a high English Teacher at CCF, you will be responsible for teaching English using 21st century pedagogy.
Specifically, our curriculum is CLIL-based, so the teacher is expected to teach content and critical thinking skills along with the.
Each unit consists of an Essential Question, which is answered through many sources (articles, videos), which are used to teach vocabulary, grammar, and critical thinking skills, resulting in an original answer to the question.
Students will be assessment through a team performance task that showcases their knowledge and understanding of the topic.
The teacher will be able to follow an outlined program, but will also be responsible for adapting the lesson plans to their specific class.
The teacher should not impose their own views onto the students, but rather encourage them to form their own opinions after being exposed to many viewpoints.
The teacher should be comfortable using online learning platforms (e.g. Google Classroom) as well as online organization tools (e.g. Google Calendar).
It is also important to have a positive, friendly attitude and be able to adapt your teaching to the ability and progress of your students.
In addition, you will take part in regular training in 21st century pedagogical approaches and CLIL teaching, as well as taking part in a continual English- development program for teachers overseen by the.
Due to the unpredictability of these times, you should be highly flexible and ready to adapt to a new at short notice.
