About the role

p>To identify lending target customers and deliver assigned loan target for large business loan team by ensuring loan assessment is properly followed and complied with credit policies and service quality meets customer satisfaction, to involve in credit assessment together with large business loan staff from the beginning until end of loan process including presentation of loan applications to authorized approval parties as well as to lead assigned team with charismatic manner and utmost responsibility to achieve the set loan target and maintain loan portfolio with good quality.<ul><li>Exercise direct supervision over all large business loan personnel to ensure smooth day-to-day operations.</li><li>Monitor team activities such as designing working schedules, assigned duties, responsibilities, coaching and performance review to maintain stable operations.</li><li>Take lead in promoting the Bank’s Large Business loan products particularly in conducting customer orientation to improve the quality of the Bank’s large business loan portfolio.</li><li>Conduct site visit to customers’ business and collateral in accordance with the bank’s policy to ensure proper granting of loans.</li><li>Verify supporting documents provided by clients and ensure fair collateral valuation based actual site visit to detect fraudulent.</li><li>Manage late payment and large business loan defaults by consistently providing team the professional methodologies to follow up, reschedule and restructure clients’ loans.</li><li>Work closely with loan recovery team to ensure successful recovery of loan.</li><li>Drive team to achieve each individual performance target and overcome challenges in their own areas through regular pipeline meetings.</li><li>Follow up on individual loan officer’s productivity and retain large business loan portfolio in timely manner.</li><li>Meet and explain loan late penalty clause in loan contract to clients with loan officers to inform precisely on repayment discipline.</li><li>Report and update the line manager any activities and status of the loan products as well as the problems and issues encountered by team members.</li><li>Give constructive feedback to improve the branch’s operational policy and guidelines.</li><li>Handle complex customers’ issues or complaints with loan officers to reach win-win solution and if the complains are not resolved at the low level it should be forwarded to higher management level.
/span></li><li>Resolve team routine and complex issues to maintain productivities and morale.</li><li>Act as a role model within the team to question, listen and give actionable feedback carefully to create a productive work atmosphere towards “speak up culture”.
/span></li></ul><ul><li>Bachelor’s degree in finance and banking, accounting, or any relevant field.</li><li>Minimum three years of working experiences in banking and financial services industry with a strong track record in granting loans preferably in business banking as well as extensive experience in commercial lending.
/li><li>Demonstration of team leadership and management.
/li><li>In-depth knowledge of the bank branch operations, rules and regulations, laws, granting loans, and credit risk management.
/li><li>Excellent sales skills, customer relationship building, and networking.</li><li>Strong critical thinking skills, professional communication skills, assertiveness, and team dynamic.</li><li>Excellent client relationship management, communication, negotiation, problem solving and interpersonal skills.</li><li>Credit evaluation and analysis skills with business insights related to business loans in Cambodia context.</li><li>Financial literacy and ability to interpret and analyze financial statements (audited and/or management reports) of the business in order to access repayment capacity and financial soundness of the clients.</li><li>Strong presentation skills and professionalism.</li><li>Ability to use and communicate in both Khmer and English.</li><li>Proficient Microsoft Office and Bank’s software.
/li><li>Excellent organizing, recording, and filing skills.</li><li>Good math skills and ability to spot numerical errors.</li><li>Good team leadership, management, problem solving, negotiation and interpersonal skill.</li><li>Strong dedication to accuracy and efficiency.</li></ul>.
