About the role

Conduct external evaluations, including impact and outcome evaluations.
The consultancy should adhere to OECD-DAC criteria and BMZ evaluation guidelines.
Experience in child rights, environmental governance, climate change adaptation, or related sectors is required.
Methodologies should be participatory, child-sensitive, and gender-responsive.
Knowledge of CR2HE, climate policy frameworks (Paris Agreement, NDCs), or environmental education is highly desirable.
Excellent written and spoken English is mandatory.
Compliance with TDH Germany Child Safeguarding Policy and EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR / EU-DSGVO) is essential.

Requirements

Proven experience in conducting external evaluations, including impact and outcome evaluations.
Strong knowledge of OECD-DAC criteria and BMZ evaluation guidelines.
Experience in child rights, environmental governance, climate change adaptation, or related sectors.
Experience with participatory, child-sensitive, and gender-responsive methodologies.
Knowledge of CR2HE, climate policy frameworks (Paris Agreement, NDCs), or environmental education is highly desirable.
Excellent written and spoken English (knowledge of relevant local languages is an asset).
Compliance with TDH Germany Child Safeguarding Policy.
Compliance with EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR / EU-DSGVO).
Proposals should include: Narrative proposal (max. 5 pages) including relevant experience, Detailed methodology, Proposed data sources, Workplan with timeline, Team composition and responsibilities (if applicable), Financial proposal (including breakdown of costs), Two sample evaluation reports in a similar sector/theme.
