About the role

Post all transactions into Acumatica.
Prepare and review daily cash collection reports (tuition fees, uniforms, school trips, homework support fees, etc.).
Check invoices and receipts from the admissions team and cashier.
Review daily cash collection reports and cash counts from the cashier.
Verify and clarify unusual or questionable supplier invoice items or prices.
Prepare Payment Vouchers (PV) and submit them to the Finance Manager and Board for review and approval.
Process payments and ensure all payments are made before the due date.
Verify bank account details and payment amounts with Acumatica and bank statements after processing payments.
Prepare weekly expense and income reports and submit them to the VCL Group.
Monitor bank statements on a daily/weekly basis.
Prepare month-end closing entries, including prepayments, deposits, and other control accounts.
Prepare and update inventory lists and provisions.
Prepare monthly cash flow, AR, and AP reports for the VCL Group.
Prepare monthly tax declarations (sales, purchase, and salary taxes).
Recognize school income (registration, capital, tuition, discounts) and verify with student statistics reports.
Prepare monthly bank reconciliations and journal vouchers (JV).
Prepare monthly AP and AR reports with comments.
Conduct fixed asset counts and reconciliations.
File all documents properly and systematically.
Assist with internal and external audits.
Perform other tasks assigned by the Finance Manager and Head of Finance.

Requirements

Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA or ACCA certification is highly desirable.
Experience in a similar role for 3 years as a minimum.
Proficiency in accounting software; experience with Acumatica is preferred.
Excellent analytical skills with strong attention to detail.
Ability to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate across departments and explain financial concepts to non-financial stakeholders.
Fluent in Khmer with a good command of English is required.
French-speaking skill is a plus.
Ability to maintain strict confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
