About the role

Design, configure, and maintain ISP-grade network infrastructure.
Implement and manage routing protocols (BGP and others) to ensure efficient traffic flow.
Deploy and support FTTH solutions to expand customer connectivity.
Monitor network performance and proactively resolve service issues.
Configure and secure routers, firewalls, and other critical devices.
Implement and enforce network security measures, including DDoS protection, to safeguard infrastructure and customer networks.
Analyze traffic patterns to enhance customer experience and optimize network performance.
Collaborate with other teams to support service delivery and expansion.
Perform other tasks as assigned by the manager.

Requirements

Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
Professional experience in network engineering for 2 years as a minimum.
Strong knowledge of Cisco technologies, including BGP and other routing protocols essential for ISP operations.
Experience with system monitoring and troubleshooting in large-scale networks.
Hands-on expertise in Mikrotik and Fortigate configuration.
Proficiency in traffic capturing and analysis to optimize performance and security.
Knowledge of FTTH technologies, including deployment, configuration, and maintenance.
Solid understanding of network security principles, including firewall policies, intrusion detection/prevention, and secure network design.
Practical knowledge of DDoS protection strategies, including detection, mitigation, and prevention techniques.
