Operations Manager

ABOUT THE COMPANY

A fashion retail company in Cambodia, offering a rang of fashion and apparel products to customers.

Operations Manager oversee and improve the daily operations of multiple restaurants/outlets. The role will focus on operational performance, service quality, cost control, team management, and ensuring company standards are consistently followed.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

• Oversee the daily operations, floor management, and commercial performance of multiple apparel retail stores.
• Monitor store sales targets, conversion rates, average transaction value (ATV), units per transaction (UPT), operational expenses, and staff productivity.
• Lead, coach, and develop Store Managers, Assistant Managers, and retail sales associates to build a high-performance culture.
• Ensure consistent adherence to brand guidelines, visual merchandising (VM) standards, window displays, and store presentation.
• Supervise stock replenishment, store inventory accuracy, shrink reduction, stockroom organization, and seasonal markdowns.
• Review individual store profitability and implement targeted action plans to turn around underperforming locations.
• Maintain high customer service standards, drive clienteling initiatives, and resolve escalated customer or operational issues.
• Ensure all retail locations strictly comply with company standard operating procedures (SOPs), cash handling policies, and local retail regulations.
• Partner closely with Merchandising, Buying, Marketing, HR, Finance, and Supply Chain to align retail execution with seasonal campaigns.
• Prepare comprehensive operational reports, analyze footfall and sales trends, and provide strategic recommendations to executive management.
• Lead operational planning for new store openings, boutique renovations, pop-up events, and seasonal product launches.

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Fashion Merchandising, Retail Management, or a related field. 10+ years of experience in retail apparel or fashion operations, with demonstrated experience managing multi-unit or multi-store territories.
• Proven track record as a Retail Operations Manager, Area Manager, District Manager, or Senior Multi-Store Manager within the fashion/apparel industry.
• Strong leadership and people-management skills with experience building and motivating diverse store teams.
• Strong commercial acumen and deep understanding of retail KPIs, store P&L, stock-turn, shrink management, and labor cost optimization.
• Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and decision-making capabilities.
• Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, multi-unit retail environment with frequent field travel.
• Good command of spoken and written English and Khmer.
