ABOUT THE ROLE:

The Head of Finance is a strategic and hands-on leadership role responsible for transitioning the group’s financial operations from basic accounting to robust financial management while driving overall business efficiency and profitability

WHAT YOU WILL DO:

• Establish and enforce rigorous payment approval processes and internal controls to eliminate financial leakage and safeguard company assets.
• Direct cash flow forecasting and management across the group entities to ensure liquidity for ongoing projects and operational needs.
• Deliver monthly financial packages (P&L, Cash Flow) and project profitability analyses to provide the owner with actionable insights for strategic decision-making.
• Implement and oversee a standardized Purchase Order (PO) system and review supplier pricing to drive cost efficiency across all project-based operations.
• Ensure 100% alignment with Cambodian tax regulations, overseeing timely filings, documentation, and managing relationships with external auditors.
• Modernize administrative workflows and internal policies to improve documentation accuracy and operational speed across the business.
• Supervise and mentor the accounting and admin departments, fostering a culture of discipline, technical accuracy, and professional accountability.

WHAT YOU SHOULD HAVE:

• At least 5 years of progressive experience in finance and accounting management.
• Proven background in construction, project-based environments, or industrial trading sectors.
• Deep knowledge of Cambodian tax laws, compliance requirements, and financial control frameworks.
• Demonstrate significant experience in procurement, cost control, and building financial systems from the ground up.
• Hands-on leader comfortable working in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment with direct exposure to business stakeholders.
• Ability to design and implement practical financial workflows that support business scaling beyond transactional accounting.
