About the role

Acquire and onboard medium loan clients, analyze and process loan applications by conducting credit investigations, scoring, credit checking, and other underwriting activities to ensure good lending and loan quality.
Maintain existing and build new medium clients according to guidelines to ensure secured loans.
Collect required documents to verify client eligibility.
Gather financial records to prevent fraud.
Conduct credit investigation to analyze financial status, credit, property evaluations, and repayment capacity to determine loan feasibility.
Conduct site visits during loan assessment to obtain in-depth information and ensure acceptable customer security.
Process and prepare Credit Appraisal Reports for loan approval.
Explain loan types and credit options to clients for cross-selling.
Make regular site visits to existing customers to assess loan collateral/financial situation and develop relationships for cross-selling.
Monitor processed loans for timely repayment and keep Portfolio At Risk within acceptable levels.
Liaise with Head Office for post-disbursement conditions and financial covenants.
Follow up delinquent clients immediately and refer to supervisor.
Discuss credit-related issues and loan packaging to provide financial advice and tailored solutions.
Handle client issues or complaints to find amicable solutions.
Stay abreast of new loan types and financial services to meet customer needs.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in finance and banking, accounting, or any relevant field.
Minimum one year of experience in banking and financial services industry.
Good knowledge of bank branch operations, rules and regulations, laws, granting loans, and credit risk management.
Demonstration of presentation and sales skills.
Good customer service, client relationship management, communication, negotiation, problem solving and internal skills.
Ability to use and communicate in both Khmer and English.
Good Microsoft Office and Bank’s software.
Good math skills and ability to spot numerical errors.
Good problem solving, negotiation and internal skill.
Strong dedication to accuracy and efficiency.
