About the role

Acquire and onboard medium loan clients.
Analyze and process loan applications through credit investigations, scoring, and credit checking.
Maintain existing and build new medium clients in accordance with medium loan policies and procedures.
Collect all required client documents for loan application to verify eligibility.
Gather valid applicants’ financial records, including credit histories and financial statements.
Conduct credit investigations to analyze applicants’ financial status, credit, property evaluations, and repayment capacity.
Conduct site visits during loan assessment to obtain in-depth information and ensure acceptable customer security.
Process and prepare Credit Appraisal Reports for loan approval.
Explain loan types, credit options, and service terms to clients for cross-selling.
Make regular site visits to existing customers to assess loan collateral and financial situation, and develop customer relationships.
Monitor processed loans for timely repayment and ensure Portfolio At Risk remains within acceptable levels.
Follow up on post-disbursement conditions and financial covenants with Head Office.
Follow up delinquent clients immediately and refer cases to the supervisor.
Discuss credit-related issues and loan packaging to provide financial advice and tailored solutions.
Handle client issues or complaints to find amicable solutions.
Stay abreast of new loan types, financial services, and products.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in finance and banking, accounting, or any relevant field.
Minimum one year of experience in banking and financial services industry.
Good knowledge of bank branch operations, rules and regulations, laws, granting loans, and credit risk management.
Demonstration of presentation and sales skills.
Good customer service, client relationship management, communication, negotiation, problem solving and interal skills.
Ability to use and communicate in both Khmer and English.
Good Microsoft Office and Bank’s software.
Good math skills and ability to spot numerical errors.
Good problem solving, negotiation and interal skill.
Strong dedication to accuracy and efficiency.
