About the role

Plan and deliver engaging, rigorous lessons across Humanities and Social Sciences (including history, geography, or economics) alongside upper-secondary English and Literature.
Foster advanced critical thinking, persuasive writing, textual analysis, and global awareness among upper-secondary students.
Design analytical writing assignments, document-based assessments, and standardized rubrics aligned with international curriculum standards.
Coordinate closely with the high faculty to coordinate cross-curricular literacy initiatives, curriculum mapping, and holistic student support.
Maintain proactive, professional communication with parents regarding student progress in proficiency and humanities course.

Requirements

Bachelor's Degree in English, History, Geography, Humanities, Education (with a relevant major), or a related discipline.
Teaching upper secondary English and/or Humanities subjects for 2 years as a minimum.
Familiarity with Western Australian Upper Secondary pathways or similar international frames is preferred.
English proficiency (written and verbal), strong classroom management for mature learners, cultural adaptability, and a commitment to fostering analytical inquiry.
