About the role

Provide technical input and support to projects within the terrestrial AP portfolio, ensuring robust and technically strong delivery.
Identify potential partners/collaborators and share key technical information and emerging science and policy to support project success.
Take responsibility for the delivery of specific reports to donors and clients within agreed deadlines and fulfill internal reporting procedures.
Support with the data analysis and writing of scientific publications.
Develop strategic external communication materials in line with programmatic priorities.
Help develop project budgets in consultation with the Finance Partner and ensure financial tracking and oversight.
Ensure projects comply with operating standards, policies, and procedures.
Assist in-country teams with the management and administration of projects on a day-to-day basis.
Support partners to ensure project objectives are in accordance with strategic objectives.
Ensure strong monitoring and evaluation frames are in place for all projects and support the analysis of monitoring data and dissemination of lessons learned.
Maintain regular communications with the Senior Technical Advisor AP, swiftly bringing to their attention any issues that may affect operations and delivery.
Conduct project-site visits for consultation, planning, technical and implementation support, and monitoring activities.
