ABOUT THE ROLE:

This Senior Building Systems Coordinator role is a critical leadership position responsible for directing the Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) trades across major construction projects, ensuring the successful completion of all building system work from pre-construction through final owner turnover.

WHAT YOU WILL DO:

• Manage and lead all MEP subcontractors throughout the entire project lifecycle, from ground-breaking through commissioning and turnover to the owner.
• Ensure the highest quality of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing construction work aligns with the project's cost and schedule requirements.
• Lead and direct the 3-D coordination process to proactively identify and resolve all installation conflicts before construction begins.
• Coordinate and administer all MEP-related materials, systems, and shop drawings submittals and supervise the review process.
• Estimate and scope all MEP trades during the pre-construction phase and review Contract Documents to suggest necessary modifications.
• Liaise with Consultant MEP Engineers, Inspectors, and relevant staff to ensure strict adherence to all project specifications.
• Serve as the main representative for the MEP process in weekly Owners and contractor's meetings.
• Take overall responsibility for the performance, quality, and progress reporting of all MEP trades, including preparing appropriate reports for management.

WHAT YOU SHOULD HAVE:

• Master or Bachelor Degree of Mechanical Engineering or Electrical Engineering (or equivalent).
• A minimum of 8 years of proven experience in Construction/MEP Coordination.
• Proven experience as a Project Manager on projects, preferably healthcare-related, with large MEP scopes.
• Strong understanding of all mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and low-voltage systems , along with a general understanding of all relevant Building Codes.
• Ability to interpret plans, prints, specifications, and schematics , and fluency in  Computer-Aided Design (CAD).
• Good command of both English and Khmer, both spoken and written.
