JOB SUMMARIES

As a Public Affairs Manager, your role is pivotal in advancing our corporate goals by enhancing our business reputation, fostering positive relationships with key stakeholders, and navigating the external landscape.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

  • Develop and execute integrated communication plans to enhance our reputation with employees, media, government, NGOs, and communities.
  • Design stakeholder networks with a focus on Government, NGOs, and Industry connections.
  • Identify key national policy and political opportunities/risks that impact short- and long-term sustainability of the business.
  • Assess public policy developments that impact our business and develop risk mitigation plans.
  • Map stakeholders and create a proactive stakeholder engagement plan
  • Build and maintain dialogue with public decision makers and non-governmental organizations.
  • Influence regulators and the political decision-making process (1) to protect our commercial freedom and license to operate (2) ensure appropriate and effective alcohol policy (3) promote the fair treatment of beer in regulation and exercise policy (4) provide a regulatory environment for positive business growth
  • Engage senior internal stakeholders on external developments to ensure understanding, awareness and impact on commercial priorities.
  • Create a long term and one-year public affairs agenda to address key risks and market opportunities with a clear prioritized roadmap for action focused on key issues and opportunities
  • Know business intimately to champion all company activities from all functions.
  • Provides Market information and reports on performance to ensure that the Head of Sales, Leadership Team and relevant team members are fully informed at all times and take appropriate response actions on a timely basis.
  • Keeps the team abreast of changes in the industry inclusive of legislations, regulations and ensures that all Sales transactions across the section are in legal compliance.
  • Conducts research and identifies opportunities for business to continue raising the bar of performance.

 WHAT YOU SHOULD HAVE

  • Minimum 5-8 years of experience in PR, corporate communications, external relations, or communications consultancy.
  • Excellent spoken and written English and Khmer language skills.
  • Proficiency in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
