Our client is a dynamic and growing trading company operating in Cambodia. We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Accounting Manager to join our team and oversee the accounting department.

ABOUT THE ROLE:

As the Accounting Manager, you will be responsible for managing all aspects of the company's accounting operations, ensuring accurate financial reporting, and providing valuable insights to support strategic decision-making.

WHAT YOU WILL DO:

• Accounting Operations Management: Oversee the daily operations of the accounting department, ensuring efficient and effective processes.
• Financial Analysis & Reporting: Monitor and analyze accounting data to produce accurate and timely financial reports and statements.
• Accounting Standards & Policies: Establish and enforce proper accounting methods, policies, and principles to ensure compliance with regulations.
• Financial Strategy: Plan, implement, and oversee the company's financial strategy, including budgeting, forecasting, and risk management.
• Financial Management: Manage the company's financial accounts, payrolls, budget, cash receipts, and financial assets.
• Transaction & Debt Management: Handle all company transactions and debts, and prepare cash flow forecasts.
• Financial Audits: Conduct regular financial audits to ensure accuracy and identify areas for improvement.
• Accounting Procedures: Adhere to proper accounting procedures to achieve financial objectives.
• Data Analysis & Reporting: Analyze financial accounting data to identify trends, assess performance, and provide insights to stakeholders.
• Stakeholder Communication: Make recommendations to business stakeholders based on financial analysis and insights.

WHAT YOU SHOULD HAVE:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
• Minimum 5 years of experience as an Accounting Manager or Finance Manager; prefer experiences from trading or retails industries.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, practices, standards, laws, and regulations.
• High attention to detail and accuracy.
• Excellent leadership, communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
• Ability to multitask, prioritize, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency in MS Office and accounting software (QuickBooks).
